Video: See Larry Hagman posing as a Costco worker on hidden camera
The eyebrows gave him away.
Larry Hagman knew how to have a little fun. That much was evident in his life, and it’s also evident in one of his final roles. No, not reprising J.R. Ewing in TNT’s Dallas reboot (although that is a lot of fun).
Not long before he died in November, Hagman filmed a segment for the CBS celebrity hidden-camera show I Get That A Lot, in which he posed as a Costco worker handing out samples of barbecue sauce. The taping was September 7 at a Costco in Santa Clarita, Calif.
“Larry was amazing to work with,” executive producer Eric Schotz says in a CBS press release. “I think what people didn’t know about Larry Hagman is that he was a prankster at heart. He loved the fact that he could interact with his fans and the fans reactions when they found out it was him are priceless.”
It is indeed good stuff; make sure you check out the behind-the-scenes video below from ET Online.
The episode of I Get That A Lot will air at 7 p.m. Wednesday on CBS. It also stars Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan, Olympian (and Kardashian patriarch) Bruce Jenner, actress Jane Seymour, comedian Cheech Marin, and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.
