5 movies you should not spend your money on this weekend

Better wait until it's free on Netflix.

Broken City

We all know how irritating it is to spend the $10 on a movie ticket, $8 on popcorn and a drink and then leave the theater in dissatisfaction. We'll save you some time. Avoid these five films this weekend.

Broken City -- Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe battle for the moral low ground in this double-crossing, gritty city drama.

Luv -- This R-rated drama gives a little boy his own Training Day of life lessons from his ex-con uncle, played by Common.

Gangster Squad -- This weightless splatter of bloodshed focuses on the LA police department’s hunt for notorious gangster Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn).

A Haunted House -- Marlon Wayans’ rude and raunchy spoof of “found footage” horror movies wears out its only joke.

Texas Chainsaw 3D -- Maybe it’s time to bury the leather face mask and move on, as the director botches even the basics of making the film's many murders frightening.
