What is Dallas’ best gastropub?
It's the city's hottest trend, so we're looking for the hottest location.

Ah, the gastropub. Dallasites ate up this newish restaurant concept, swallowed it down with a swig of craft beer, and went back for seconds. And though it's one of Dallas' hottest trends right now, you may have eaten at a gastropub and didn't even know it. Not everyone talks in such fancy terms.
A gastropub is "a bar or tavern offering cooking that’s markedly more thoughtful and ambitious than what you find at your neighborhood beer-and-pizza joint or old-fashioned Irish pub," according the Dallas Morning News restaurant critic Leslie Brenner. It's special bar food, put simply.
Brenner says the area's best gastropubs have great menus, sure, but they're also serving up tasty and interesting beverages -- usually cocktails or beers.
