Dr. Calvin Peters auditions for the American Idol judges.
Dr. Calvin Peters from Fort Worth is on the third year of his residency and currently works at the Veteran Hospital with a specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. While in college, he took a break from singing so he could focus on getting into medical school.
Peters auditioned for the American Idol judges in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his rendition of a Maxwell song. The judges were very impressed. Mariah Carey said she likes him a lot, Keith Urban liked his vibe and bravery for taking on a Maxwell song, and Nicki Minaj complimented him on doing things that people don’t normally do in auditions.
