4 new Frisco restaurants slated to open in spring 2013
Juicy burgers, festive Tex-Mex, and Cajun creations!
FRISCO It’s no secret that Frisco is growing fast. So it’s no big surprise that Frisco is welcoming four new restaurants. I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard quite a bit of buzz flying around town about these new food spots and had to get in on the all the talk. Are you as excited as I am to check out these new Frisco hot spots?
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop - Frisco welcomed Fuzzy’s Taco Shop on January 21, 2013. This opening marked the 31st Fuzzy’s in the DFW area, and it’s no surprise why this baja-style Mexican taco shop is such a hit. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop serves up crowd favorites such as chips and queso, flavorful salads, burritos, and tacos. Not only that, but the options are almost endless. Top it off with your drink of choice from their selection of beer, wine, margaritas, and other drink specials, and you have a winning combination. I have to say, I am thrilled to have a Fuzzy’s so close and plan to take full advantage of it.
Jake's Uptown - This Spring 2013, Jake's Uptown Burgers comes to Frisco in Frisco Square. This will be the 8th Jake's in the DFW area. I absolutely love Jake's, and its Frisco location can’t open fast enough. Maybe it's the juicy and creative burgers in poppy seed buns, tater tots, hand-cut fries, sandwiches, and milkshakes, or maybe its the fun atmosphere and full bar, but I just can’t get enough of this place.
NOLA Bar and Grill - Also coming to Frisco Square later this year is NOLA Bar and Grill. Standing for New Orleans Louisiana, this upscale yet casual dining spot will give you a taste of the French Quarter. Their specialties will include Cajun and Creole food, made from scratch. The bar and lounge will draw you in by the long wine list and cocktails.
Three Squares - One more opening in Frisco Square, this bakery and cafe style restaurant is projected to come to Frisco and open this March. This restaurant will offer chef inspired selections for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all served in a cool and casual atmosphere, including a patio and full bar. This is bound to be one of those eateries enjoyed by the locals of the Frisco community.
Let the countdown begin! Fuzzy’s is now open, but the anticipation for the opening of Jake's Uptown, NOLA Bar and Grill, and Three Squares is high. I will be scoping these new places out soon and will share my findings with you all in the coming months.
