Jewel and Kelly Clarkson sing tear-jerking “Foolish Games” duet
Sigh. You'll love it.
Okay, grab some tissues and get ready to dry a few tears. Jewel’s first ever greatest hits compilation is coming this February. The album includes new spins on two of Jewel’s most iconic tracks: “You Were Meant for Me” performed as an ensemble with Pistol Annies, and an incredible duet with none other than the original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson.
“Foolish Games,” an already incredibly heartfelt song, is only made stronger when Kelly Clarkson joins in.
Warning: There is a possibility that by listening to this song you may feel the need to quote Michael G. Scott from The Office when he said: “it feels like somebody took my heart and dropped it into a bucket of boiling tears. And, at the same time, somebody else is hitting my soul in the crotch with a frozen sledgehammer. And then a third guy walks in and starts punching me in the grief bone. And I am crying, and nobody can hear me because I am terribly, terribly, terribly alone.”
