McKinney police need help finding child predator
A man is said to have approached a 10-year-old inside Target and told her inappropriate things.
MCKINNEY The McKinney Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to help identify a potential child predator.
On June 28, 2013, at approximately 11:10 a.m., a mother and daughter (age 10) were shopping inside the Target store located at 2025 North Central Expressway.
The child was several aisles over from her mother when she was approached by a white male who allegedly patted her on the buttocks and told her she was sexy.
The distraught child ran to her mother who then contacted an employee to help locate the suspect, but he was unable to be located. The suspect was described as a six-foot tall, medium build, pale skin male in his 60s with a long gray ponytail.
Surveillance video footage of the incident showed the victim in the electronics section while the suspect was watching her from the next aisle and allegedly masturbating. The suspect made physical contact with the victim out of view of the camera.
The photo is from the surveillance video as the suspect exited the store. The suspect walked away from the store and no vehicle information is available. If anyone is able to identify this person, please contact the McKinney Police Department at 972-547-2700.
