Cheers National Tequila Day with deals, specials, and recipes
Hope the song doesn't get stuck in your head.
July 24 is National Tequila Day, and a host of area restaurants are celebrating with drink deals and specials. Sigel's liquor store is slashing the prices of its tequila inventory, most notably the $2,499.99 bottle of Dos Lunas Grand Reserve, which you can get for a steal at just $1,999.99. Here are a few other tequila offerings up for tasting...
Urban Taco: From 7 to 9 p.m. at its Uptown Dallas location, Urban Taco will have a tequila specialist on hand to walk patrons through the restaurant's selection of 40 different tequilas. Drink specials include a Milagro Tequila flight for $9 and their Hibiscus Margarita, Acapulqueña Margarita, and Ginger Jalapeño Margarita for only $5.
Stampede 66: In a well-timed move, Stephan Pyles and his newest restaurant, Stampede 66, will welcome Casa Dragones sipping tequila to its establishment.
Meso Maya: Downtown Dallas' Meso Maya and Tequila Herradura are teaming up to offer patrons specialty cocktails and tequila tastings. Also, Meso Maya will host a surprise guests in honor of National Tequila Day.
El Fenix: Dallas dining staple El Fenix is reducing the price of their house margarita, frozen or on the rocks, to just $3.50 to celebrate National Tequila Day. They're calling it "Mas Tequila," we're calling it a good idea.
Abuelo's: Abuelo's, the Tex-Mex chain known for its ornate dining rooms complete with fountains and simulated skies, is also getting in on the National Tequila Day fun and reducing their premium margaritas to $5.95.
