Deion Sanders will star in new series on Oprah’s network
"It's Prime Time" is the working title.
The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) reportedly ordered a new docu-series starring Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys player Deion Sanders. Tentatively called "It's Prime Time" and premiering in 2014, the show is all about Sanders and his shenanigans.
Sanders and his now-ex-wife Pilar Sanders formerly appeared on the reality show "Prime Time Love" on Oxygen. This go-round, new show "It's Prime Time" will feature Sanders' girlfriend Tracey Edmonds, as Sanders "strives to keep all the facets of his complicated, crazy and chaotic life in balance and under control," according to the press release. The show will also involve his five kids, his mother, her foster kids, his aunt, and his uncle.
Sanders' Dallas school, Prime Prep Academy, just finished its first year. The school already seems made for TV: Dallas Morning News writer Jeff Mosier says the school had its share of ups and downs.
Hey, if T.O. can be in a reality show, shouldn't Sanders get back on screen too?Follow @sblaskovich
