Man exposed himself to at least nine young victims in Frisco
Police seek additional information before an arrest can be made.
FRISCO The Frisco Police Department is seeking potential victims to identify a man who exposed himself to multiple girls and young women.
According to the department, a man driving a white sports utility vehicle exposed himself to girls and young women ranging in age from 11 to 21. Nine victims have already come forward, and the department believes more exist. The man allegedly made "very specific statements about the victim's physique in each case" or exposed himself, according to a news release.
Police have a potential suspect identified and say the incidents occurred in both the east and west portions of the city. The suspect could face several counts of indecent exposure.
Officer Greg Barnett, a spokesman for the Police Department, said the incidents have stopped since the suspect was identified.
"What we're looking for is further victims who haven't come forward and reported it -- we're pretty confident there are more victims out there who simply haven't reported anything yet," he said. "Since [a suspect] was identified the incidents stopped, but we haven't charged him yet and want victims to positively identify him."
Individuals with more information on the case are encouraged to call the Police Department's non-emergency number at 972-292-6010. Anonymous tips can also be reported to the department by texting "FRISCOPD" followed by the tip to 847411 (tip411).
