PETA is outraged over Beyonce’s sneakers featuring five exotic animals
Oh yeah, and they're $5,500.
Uh-oh. Beyoncé has come under fire from PETA over the use of five different animals on her custom made sneakers. Beyoncé obviously didn’t make the shoes herself nor did she murder the animals with her own two hands (as far as we know). The designer kicks were commissioned by her and created by custom-design company PMK. Called, for some insane reason, "King Bey," the “beautiful” shoes feature crocodile and anaconda skin, stingray, and ostrich and calf hair.
If you are in for it, the shoes will set you back $5,500, just a little less than the pain and suffering that the beasts most likely had to go through. You can see more photos of the luxury shoes in the company’s official website.
My question is, if you are going to use so many animals, why not make a good looking shoe?
I leave you with Beyonce’s "Single Ladies" featuring a goat.
