Cowboys football star Tony Dorsett lists Frisco mansion for under $1 million
Now that's what I can an extra point.
FRISCO Here is your chance to buy a home occupied by a football champ and hope that maybe he leaves that Heisman Trophy behind! Tony Dorsett, who played, of course, for the Cowboys and the Broncos, has listed his Frisco home at 5990 Haley Way with the Beth Douglas Group at Ebby. Tony is one of only two players in NFL history (the other being former running back Marcus Allen) who has won the Heisman Trophy, won the Super Bowl, won the College National Championship, been enshrined in the College Hall of Fame, and been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame.
And now his home in Starwood holding all those trophies can be yours! Asking price: $949,000.
The home is a mellow 5,496 square feet with four bedrooms, four and a half baths, formals of course and a great kitchen with granite and top of the line stainless appliances, as you might expect, and rich wood custom cabinetry. Speaking of cabinetry, check out the wood in Tony’s office with all his trophies — to die for. There is also a three-car garage and a great backyard pool.
Interiors combine “rustic elegance with casual, family friendly amenities." The effect generates from gorgeous molding & trim everywhere, large windows & rich, dark hand-scraped wood floors. I also adore the sunken soaking tub in the master where you can relax once the kids are tucked away. The master retreat overlooks the pool. Teens will go gaga over the huge game and media room.
Sleepover where Tony Dorsett slept!
Really, this home just screams family. There is a nice floor-plan for entertaining with terrific guest flow for formal gatherings & parties or even a family birthday. Tony is moving to Plano to be closer to his children’s school because he is, after all, a family man and that’s just the kind of vibe you get here on Haley Way.
