Source-conscious Chipotle heads into area farmers markets throughout April
The first 100 customers each week will get $10 to spend on farm-fresh goods.
According to their website, one of Chipotle Mexican Grill’s missions is to “support and sustain family farmers who respect the land and the animals in their care.” So, Chipotle wants to show this support by educating people about the importance of where they food come from. How are they doing this? By inviting you to experience a day at your closest farmers market.
Here’s how the press release explains it: “Starting next month Chipotle Mexican Grill will partner with four D-FW farmers markets as part of their mission to support local family farms, sustainable agriculture and culinary education.”
The first 100 people to stop by the Chipotle booth will get recipes and $10 tokens, which you can use to to purchase farm-fresh goods at the following markets:
- April 6: McKinney Farmers Market
- April 13: Downtown Arlington Farmers Market
- April 20: Cowtown Farmers Market
- April 27: Coppell Farmers Market
It's a great opportunity to get to know your Farmers Market and hey, a $10 shopping spree!
