Kelly Clarkson spotlights in pilot for new comedy The Crazy Ones on CBS
Kelly is charged with making "a sex song."
I know what you may be thinking … do we really need a TV show starring Robin Williams? Haven’t we had enough of Williams’ zaniness and in-your-face brand of humor? Alas, someone at CBS thinks we need it.
That is how I approached the trailer for the upcoming comedy The Crazy Ones. And well, I did not hate it. I wasn’t even too annoyed with Robin Williams, even if he’s just being … Robin Williams. Sarah Michelle Gellar also stars on the show as Williams’ daughter. In the show, Williams and Gellar play a father-daughter team running an ad agency.
Kelly Clarkson appears on the pilot episode, playing herself. Kelly is hired by the ad agency as part of a marketing campaign for McDonald’s, and for the campaign Kelly decides she wants to ditch her wholesome, girl-next-door persona. It is pretty hilarious.
Pretty sure I’ll watch at least the pilot. How about you? Take a look at the trailer below.
