Red Bull Air Race World Championship flies through DFW in 2014
Texas Motor Speedway is one of two U.S. event locations.
FORT WORTH After a three-year hiatus to improve safety conditions, the Red Bull Air Race is back in the skies and, lucky for us, Dallas-Fort Worth is one of two U.S. stops for the high-flying spectacle.
The race features 12 pilots racing 50 to 80 feet above the ground flying through obstacles courses and challenges. The additional safety requirements include standard for pilots and lighter pylons for the challenges.
The Red Bull Air Race World Championships will make its Texas stop on September 6, 2014 at Texas Motor Speedway.
