FC Dallas partners with Plano Symphony Orchestra to bring family-friendly fun to Frisco
It all begins September 7.
FRISCO The Plano Symphony Orchestra and FC Dallas have entered into a partnership to mutually support each other. FC Dallas will be involved with the Plano Symphony Family Series Concerts, Frisco Home for the Holidays, the Debutante Program and other others. This unique partnership has as its cornerstone the desire by both organizations to provide entertainment to families, in particular those with young children.
"This new and exciting partnership provides the experience for young children to gain exposure to both orchestral music and sports," said Debbie Watson, Plano Symphony Orchestra executive director. "Our goal is for children to realize there is a place for both music and sports as they explore and develop their interests."
The integration of activities, along with cross-promotional marketing of events, will benefit both audiences. FC Dallas will participate in the pre-concert activities of the Plano Symphony Family Series, along with aiding in the promotion of the concerts. The Plano Symphony will provide their Instrument Petting Zoo at games as an interactive element for children. The fun starts at FC Dallas September 7.
In conjunction with the Family Series, FC Dallas is providing a free child's ticket to all attendees with all additional tickets at 40 percent off. These are all east sideline reserved seats and each ticket purchased provides a $3 donation to Plano Symphony and Orchestra. Supporters can choose the game of choice among FC Dallas' remaining regular season home matches. All tickets will be at will call the day of the game starting at 4 p.m.

The Plano Symphony Orchestra is a professional orchestra providing entertaining and engaging musical experiences to the North Texas area for 30 years. The last seven seasons have been sold out. The Family Symphony Sundays in Frisco concert will be at 3 p.m. at the Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 N. Dallas Parkway.
