The cast of the 17th season of celebrity dance show Dancing With The Stars has been announced, and former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson is among the hopefuls. Can he become the second Cowboys champ, after Emmitt Smith won it all in Season 3?
The cast was revealed today Good Morning America, and includes — brace yourselves — Snooki of Jersey Shore fame; actress Valerie Harper, who’s currently fighting brain cancer; and Jack Osbourne, famous son of Ozzy.
Keyshawn, who played for the Cowboys for two seasons in 2004-05, is the lone athlete on the list. During his 11-season NFL career, he also played for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers.
The rest of the cast: actress Elizabeth Berkley (Saved by the Bell, Showgirls); actor Corbin Bleu (High School Musical); actor Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars); country comic Bill Engvall; singer and actress Christina Milian; Bill Nye, the “Science Guy”; actress Leah Remini (King of Queens); and actress Amber Riley (Glee).
The season premieres September 16 on ABC.
