High-end burger bar opens in Uptown September 12
In addition to beef burgers, the lunch menu includes lamb, crab cake, turkey and tuna burgers.
DALLAS Co-founder of Del Frisco's Dee Lincoln admits she's "known for steak," but her new restaurant opening September 12 in Uptown Dallas will put the focus on high-end burgers.
"I feel my loyal clientele will come for a steak, but it’s important we understand the need to also be approachable and offer a menu for the younger Uptown Dallas diner to enjoy as well," Lincoln said about Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar in a press release.
Executive chef Juliard Ishizuka's burger menu includes beef, sure, but the lunch menu also offers lamb, crab cake, turkey and tuna burgers. Both lunch and dinner menus have a $12 fried green tomato burger served with remoulade, roasted red bell peppers and mozzarella. The lunch-only tuna burger, for $15, comes with teriyaki, grilled pineapple, tempura nori and sriracha aioli.
Chef Ishizuka's menu includes three cuts of steaks ($35-49 each), daily specials, and sides like cast iron chorizo corn and crispy Brussels sprouts ($5 each).
The new burger house is located where JoJo Eating House once was, in Uptown Dallas. Lincoln also owns Dee Lincoln’s Tasting Room & Bubble Bar, with locations in AT&T (formerly Cowboys) Stadium in Arlington and in Uptown.
The restaurant opens for dinner September 12 and lunch September 16.
