Dallas-themed gas station popped up in — of all places — NYC
Gas is $1.98 today only.
Ten days ago we noted that TNT’s popping up a single Ewing Energies gas station in conjunction with the debut of Dallas' third season tonight. We also suggested that it wouldn’t be in Dallas, because that would make too much sense?
Well, this morning the location was revealed, and sure enough it’s far, far away — in Manhattan, of all places, 466 10th Avenue, to be exact. Usually it’s a BP station. But today … well, it’s a promotional tie-in selling $1.98-per-gallon gas, because nothing says “Dallas” like Hell’s Kitchen.
Anyway. If you missed our chat with Linda Gray over the weekend, catch up as Dallas returns without Larry Hagman. Said Gray, coming back without J.R. wasn’t easy — especially for Gray and Patrick Duffy. “It was so bittersweet,” she told our Joy Tipping. “But we both knew he would have just said, ‘Oh, Linda, get on with it.’”
And what would he have said about a Ewing gas station in New York City?
