UPDATED: Second concert added when Katy Perry roars through Dallas in October
Shows are now October 2 and 3.
If you haven’t heard Katy Perry’s latest hit, you probably have been living under a rock. "Roar," the first single of her latest album Prism, has been on virtually everywhere, from TV shows to viral videos to ads. The song was almost as hard to escape as “Call Me Maybe” was in 2012. But thankfully, "Roar" is a better song.
As support for Prism, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the pop star will be taking The Prismatic World Tour around her favorite North American cities. Perry will stop at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on October 2, 2014. Tegan and Sara will be opening for Perry in Dallas, while Kacey Musgraves and Capital Cities will be joining her in other cities across the U.S.
[UPDATE: A second show was added on Friday, October 3. It will also be at the AAC. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. January 27.]
Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, January 21 at 10 a.m. through Citi’s Private Pass Program. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets early via Facebook on January 23. You can find more information at katyperry.com.
