5 films to avoid this weekend in movie theaters
Including one that is "the kind of awful movie that gives awful movies a bad name."
I, Frankenstein -- Aaron Eckhart looks for the monster’s humanity in this future-world version of the horror classic. Sitting with a 5% rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this writing, FEARnet's Scott Weinberg calls it, "The kind of awful movie that gives awful movies a bad name."
Gimme Shelter -- Vanessa Hudgens plays a homeless teen in search of sanctuary in this emotional but simplistic story of her struggles.
Ride Along -- Ride Along is such a formula effort that you might be able to get the same effect imagining it as watching it.
The Nut Job -- Animated antics at a manic pace pay off in this tale of a rogue squirrel scheming to steal a huge stash of nuts.
Devil's Due -- A newlywed couple is expecting a baby after a mysterious event on their honeymoon, and then they fear the unborn child is demonic.
