Lake Dallas City Hall parking lot will feature a one-of-a-kind New Orleans-style party with Cajun food, live music from the N'Awlins Gumbo Kings, and free activities for the kids.

A tall archway with lighted columns on both ends of the new span will provide "an easily recognizable landmark" in southern Denton County.
