McKinney ISD High Schools

Students provide their own paint and elbow grease once their design ideas are approved by school administrators.

Bands from all three high schools in the district received at least one 1st Division (Superior Performance) rating in either Concert or Sight-Reading.

The alleged relationship took place between a School Resource Officer and a 17-year-old McKinney Boyd High School female student.

The McKinney Boyd yearbook staff earned this honor with the school’s second edition of the yearbook, which covered the 2007-2008 school year.

They ranked 12th place overall in finals performance, with two judges ranking them sixth in the categories of movement and equipment.

Taylor Lewis will be one of approximately 1,000 dancers from across the nation to perform in the parade.

The trio won awards in the Association of Texas Photography Instructor's fall competition, a competition that included 4,856 entries in 16 categories and two divisions (beginning and advanced).

Some students' photos had their heads on different bodies.

More than 160 Solo and Ensemble Students Earn Top Honors.

In the nearly two years the school has grown to become the largest of the three high schools in terms of total student population.

School is one of only 100 nationwide to receive recognition.

McKinney High, McKinney North High, and McKinney Boyd each earn high marks for their yearbooks.

Four-Star General Doc Foglesong will speak in to students from McKinney High and McKinney North High.

A total of 80 high school students.

One student selected as cast member, two selected for production crew.

A total of 80 band students from McKinney ISD high schools were selected to the All-Region Bands.

The MHS yearbook, newspaper and broadcast program take top honors in national competition.

The event will be the 12th time the school’s choirs have hosted the event.

The TAJE Fall Fiesta is the high school and middle school fall state convention for journalism.
