UNT softball’s season comes to an end with 5-0 loss

The North Texas softball team’s season ended with a 5-0 loss to Western Kentucky in an elimination game of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Thursday morning at MT Softball Complex. The Mean Green finished its 2007 season with an overall record of 22-36.

The Mean Green (22-34) knocked off No. 23 Louisiana-Lafayette yesterday in the opening round of the tournament for the first time in school history. NT is now 1-16 all-time and 1-2 in the conference tournament against ULL.
