The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has installed the Horned Frogs as #25 in the nation.

Lauren Wiggins set a school record in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.29 seconds, which was also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

Virgil Hodge placed second in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes, clocking an NCAA provisional time of 7.32 in the 60.
January 28, 2008-
Silje Fjortoft took fifth in the one mile championship, finishing with a time of 4:51.32.

Toby Edwards placed first in the high jump at the Texas Tech Invitational, clearing 6-10.25, almost two feet better than the second place finisher.

Eddie Beckwith clocked a 47.53 400 meters in last weekend's Texas Tech Invitational, the third-fastest time in school history.

Matt Hansen and Garrett Sage qualified in the 5,000 meters, while Kurt Lindsey qualified in the mile.

Mustang Samantha Means won the 3,000m in a time of 10:31.02, while Alexandria Smith took fourth in he 200m in 25.50.
