Requiring SUP's is not a unique "one size fits all" solution. I'm not even sure that makes sense to begin with...and BTW SUP's did wonders for Deep Ellum, can't you tell?

Why pick on the businesses that are barely scraping by?? I think the slow economy is a bigger problem. I guess the City of Dallas wants to put the breaks on all small businesses in Dallas. AND WHO THE HELL WOULD INVEST HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN A BUSINESS TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AND TAKE OFF. I think Angela Hunt needs to think about that one. I am pretty sure the majority of these business owners plan on sticking around, don't you Ms. Adelman I mean Ms. Hunt???
Illegal Bars huh... Easy solution, fire up the grill and get the kitchen going. Problem solved.

@ LG Resident
Let me correct your sentences, please...
AND WHO THE HELL WOULD INVEST HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN A BUSINESS [that has a Restaurant Certificate of Occupancy but does not have a kitchen and therefore is really a Bar] TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AND TAKE OFF.
and
I am pretty sure the majority of these business owners plan on sticking around [earning as much money as they can before they close, since the average lifespan of an illegal bar on Lower Greenville is about three years]
and finally
Illegal Bars huh... Easy solution, fire up the grill and get the kitchen going. Problem solved. [Damn, the floorplans submitted with the Building Inspection permit application included a kitchen, but well you know money is tight and we kinda just forgot to build the kitchen. But if our customers ask for food, we can send them to the McDonald's down the street.]

Maybe you should take a look at the state of art kitchen in these places. Why would the City of Dallas issue a restaurant CO without the actual kitchen equipment you idiot? I am pretty sure you have about 4 dollars in your bank account after paying your bills. Just hang out with Avi and extort money from the illegal businesses before you put your 2 cents in....These people did not get into business to shut down in a year. These people got into business because they are millionaires unlike you. It takes money to make money. Now you borderline bums need to stay away.
