Kolache Station closed?

Stand back, burrito! Er, kolache.

In fact, Kolache Station is reopening under new ownership.

As a follow up, my wife and I went by Kolache Station this morning (10/4). Besides the "good bye" sign, there is another one indicating it will reopen in 2-3 weeks after renovation. There is also a Plano building permit on the front window with the name of the new owner.

It appears Kolache Station will actually reopen with new ownership. The previous owners have retired.

Three cheers.

Yes, it's true...Kolache Station will live on after all. I'm the original owner and will be training the new owner the art of making our kolaches and cinnamon rolls in the coming weeks. I'm now the Worship/Involvement minister at the Eastridge Church of Christ in Rockwall which is a dream I've had for some years. Owning and operating a bakery is a job for a young person. I was 33 when I opened KSB and am now 54, soon to be 55. After two bad rotator cuffs, arthritic hands, bad elbows, and knotty muscled shoulders, it's time to move on before I disintegrate..Ha. KSB was a blessing to our family and we are so happy that it will still be an active participant in the lives of our loyal customers. God Bless, Urban Rogers

I generally find that those least willing to sell out, have never even been offered a price.

Do with that as you will.
