Sarah Blaskovich says:
Here's a weird one: Free shredding services from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 16. Get your shred on at Family 1st of Texas Federal Credit Union, 3501 Western Center Boulevard in Fort Worth.

Andrew Laska, says:
OK. I'll bite. Why is it weird?
Jesus Valadez, says:
I do have two bins of paper I've been wanting to shred but too lazy to do it with my 5-sheets-at-a-time shredder. Too bad it's all the way in Ft. Worth.
Sarah Blaskovich, says:
I think it's a great idea, but the concept caught me off guard. I get constant emails about events and stories: Come to a soccer game, try this wine tasting, view our new art exhibit, let's ... shred some paper?
I just re-read the press release, and I don't have any info, unfortunately, on what they do with the paper once it's shredded.
Andrew Laska, says:
They probably recycle it. I've seen several of these events before.
