Is it just me, or do all voice-overs sound the same? Something about that cadence makes me want to punch 'em in the face.

If they're offended they should read the fine print. I'm sure somewhere in there it states this is allowed.

Catherine Cuellar, verified:

Yes, that's me - and yes Mr. Gouldin, you are correct that it's allowed. The good news for the customer and Oncor is that once the new Advanced Meter is installed, it can be read remotely. You can find out when you're getting your meter at <a href="http://SmartTexas.com">SmartTexas.com</a>. Until then, please close your curtains, shutters, or blinds - and wear a robe!

doesn't the electric company 'give notice' that SOMEONE is going into their yard? What if there was a bada$$ mutt back there (or Michael Vick!) and attacked the Oncor person? is the property owner liable? just wondering....

What I would give for the big tall Oncor man to see me nude, but my meter is on the side of the complex. Ratz. Seriously this lady is just over reacting. I see her pots nude pics of herself on craigslist under w4t all the time. :)

is Catherine speaking for Oncor, on the Channel 5 video above? or is that the nekkid lady?

Catherine Cuellar, verified:

Oncor does notify customers both by hanging a tag on their door in advance and by knocking before entering - as it did in this case. The woman was asleep and didn't hear Oncor's tech at her door - so he proceeded assuming nobody was home. Improved safety and privacy for customers are among the benefits of Oncor's new advanced meters. Not all door hangers are solicitations. If you leave and enter your home through your garage, please check the front door once in awhile.

Oncor changed out my old meter into the New Advanced Model faster than a gas fill-up at Nascar, being both courteous and professional.

PLUS: *They gave me a coupon for an all-expenses-paid 10 day Hawaiian Cruise with first-class airfare to Honolulu. I think. Maybe I dreamed it. I was asleep.

PS: After viewing this video, I insist that Catherine Cuellar post a new photo on her Pegasus profile. Clearly the big bucks at Oncor gig has seen her being lavishly pampered at noteworthy spas, judging from her flowing and lustrous locks and the velvety skin, both dewy and radiant.... vs. her pony tail and dry skin cream daily regimens in her Pegasus era.

An Oncor representative said workers are within their rights to enter a back yard to access electric equipment. The new meters should eliminate the need for workers to climb fences in the future.

Wonder how said rep will handle PR when a worker becomes another castle law stat.

Also, can't view vid from work - but if the lady in the article pic is said naked woman, I'm sure it was just as much a shock for the Oncor dude. =p

I lay out totally naked in my back yard every summer to sun tan and the same meter reader, a tall, very nice and handsom black man, comes back there to read the meter on the other side of the house all the time and I couldnt care less! When he first enters the gate, I am always on my stomach and can tell it is him by the way he swings open the gate door and the first thing he sees is my bare feet and rear end covered in sun tan oil ten yards away, no big deal. He even says "Thanks Mrs. Evens" when he leaves and I simply say, " Thank you for closing the gate back" I think too many people in general are wound up and need to relax more.
