And how about the train blocking the Exposition street entry......affecting how folks have to walk around the front...And not through to enter the fair grounds.....A/T,..Mass transit 20 years behind in The little D....

Nothing short of amazing. I fully expected total chaos from DART , but , they seem to have their act together this time around. As a season ticket holder to the State Fair all I can say is the green line works.
I have been in Boston several times for the 4th of July and the crowds were no worse than in Boston.
Hope this continues for the next big crowd event in downtown Dallas.

It was just too many people and NOT enough trains, I was there this morning. Some trains were PACKED with out-of-towners riding southbound, unaware of where they were headed. DART should also have had the RED LINE go through downtown Dallas and not just to Fair Park. Morgan Lyons spokesman for DART just said, "We had 150 trains running today!",...well Morgan, yes you did BUT NOT where they should have been running man. Easy answer Morgan, I don't buy it. You should have added even more trains to the system. I think you were afraid of a "change" to the system. We could have sent some of the empty blue line trains to help with the overflow. I saw many blue line trains going south and north, just empty. Could we not have modified the Saturday schedule for just one day Morgan??? It was a nightmare mess this morning, I saw it firsthand. DART is a good system for local residents only.
