There needs to be more of this type of sentencing for this type of crime. Personally, I would be all for upping the anti to a death penalty option. There is just no rehabilitating these people and I am furious that my tax dollars feed and shelter them.
Does anyone know how he came into contact with the victims? I wasn't able to find any source that mentioned his connection to the families. The charge count indicates that he had pretty extensive access to the girls. So sad and so scary!

You're not a doctor, and are therefore not qualified to make this statement.
Also, that story sort of glossed over the details. How old were the victims? What type of abuse? And as jtmbls pointed out, how did this guy get access to them?
"<i>The girls testified about the abuse, and sexually explicit photos of them corroborated their stories.</i>"
I wonder if these photos were shown during the trial. "And here are the photos. By the way, on your way out of the court room, please register for the sex offender database."

I am not a doctor but I can read, therefore I am qualified to make that statement. The recidivism rates for child molesters is entirely too high. And please spare me your warped definition of "child."
