This is going to be a very interesting trial. Personally I think the Federal Officials acted improperly by seeking him out and providing him the the fake bomb. If he was that serious about doing damage he would have done it before the officials egged him on.

I can think of a gazillion white supremacists that would fallen victim to the same trap. Or a million other misguided people who are angry and have low self esteems.

But our legal community and society has adopted the creed that the ends justifies the means.

So tet, you would prefer that these misguided, angry people with low self esteem get taken advantage of by extremists with lethal intentions rather than our government? We should just sit and wait for for lives to be lost as opposed to the proactive approach? The one that actually prevents the death of untold numbers of innocent people?

All your missing is Chris Hanson (Can you have a seat over there please?). The question is, would this guy have done it if the FBI hadnt set him up? Do you really want to find out? How would you feel about a smoking crater in downtown Dallas? Bottom line if he has the selective morals that would allow him to push the (Fake)plunger - I really dont want him on the street. What you do with him is up to someone else (Above my pay grade?(Thanks Prez!)

"The question is, would this guy have done it if the FBI hadnt set him up?"

In all probability no. He didn't have the money or the access to the kind of explosives necessary to blow up a building. He should have been deported immediately, once the FBI made contact with him and they found out he wasn't part of some sleeper cell or terrorist group. Only an idiot would believe the FBI had to go through all that trouble to figure out we was a lone nutbag.

He could have been sent back to Jordan, labeled as a terrorist, put on the watch list and that would have been that. He didn't sneak into the country in the first place, and should have been expelled when they established he was not involved with any terrorists and simply one of millions of angry Muslims that exist around the would.

So much for common sense, when it is a lot easier to play the same old fear mongering game.

And it's so easy to Monday morning Quarterback the trained professionals who's education and job descriptions actually include protecting the lives and property of American citizens.

Forgive me for deferring to their judgment in matters of national security over those without said training.

Fear of death, it is amazing how people become completely unglued when they are faced with the potential demise of their life. The guy above talked about the "smoking crater" in downtown Dallas and the other person drones on about protecting the lives and property of American citizens. It is funny to see them become so limited psychologically because of the thought of their life's end.

I bet you these two people would blow something up if their way of life was depending on it. You know they would. Yes they would justify it through the morals and values, like lets say the war in Iraq. They are only focused on there insignificant lives and hide behind patriotism or religion or what ever country club reality the subscribe to.

The good news is, the people in power running this show have the same mind set as you. Yes it is your illusion that a few of us are held hostage to.

But I am going to leave you with a thought? What is your punishment for the craters that we have made in other people's cities? I would like to know if you have the stones to even accept any responsibility.

Wow! So...tet...Purchase any explosives lately?

~You think "It is funny" to see people's reaction to death?

~You believe that all of us would blow something up if we had the chance?

~You feel that you and others are being held hostage?

~You believe we all are responsible and should be punished for the war?

Are you on an FBI watch list?
