Scott Doyle, says:
The jury on Monday found the speedway 80 percent responsible and found that the boy’s parents, Angela and Richard Kenyon, were each 10 percent responsible.
Always amazes me the percentages that are reported on this stuff. Each parent 10% responsible for letting their kid play football with other kids? Christ.
Travis Bush, says:
I can see the track being responsible for public safety when it comes to their facility, but how does one put a percentage on such a thing? What about the idiot parents who let their child drive a vehicle he obviously could not control? I would think they would be at least I don't know, 50% responsible, besides the constant reminder that their "Little Al Unser" killed someone anyway.
Scott Doyle, says:
Hmmm, think I'm mixed up actually - looks like it was parents of the driver who were 10% at fault each. Not the best written article, imo...so many pronouns!
And T-Bush, kid who was hit isn't dead. Extremely disabled as a result of the ordeal, but not dead.
