And here was my response to her e-mail quoted in the story above.
"Thank you for the reply. I hope you understand that with over 150 options (not counting multiple chain locations) existing for BBQ in the DFW area along with severely disparate opinions of what makes great BBQ from palate to palate, I was surprised at the almost complete overlap in our lists rather than simply deeming it a natural outcome.
No matter how the list was formed, I'm glad to see those that work hardest (the owners and pitmasters) getting the increased publicity they deserve.
