Woman murdered after she called 911, pleading with ex to stop attacking her

Police went to her home, and when no one answered, they left. Deanna Cook was found dead two days later in the home.

I think Deanna Cook called 911 believing she would get help....I hope she died still believing that instead of KNOWING that was not the case. I know/we know that was not the case....this is tragic and beyond sad for her family. Rest in peace....some of us do care; we just not the LAW.

Why would they leave if she needed help. They should have kicked the door down. She probably would still be alive if they entered her apartment.
