DFW gets first DPS megacenter, opening today
John Turner-McClelland, verified:
If they wanted to provide real service they'd have more than one in Garland and they'd be open on a Saturday.
I had to change my DL this past July. There are 2 offices in all of Denton County. I went to Denton because I also had to go to Social Security. Was in and out of SS in 15 minutes. Went by the DPS and they had a line out the door with no shade and it was about 105 outside. So we opted to drive to Lewisville. Same situation but at least had a tree. We spent 55 minutes before we were allowed inside. Once inside took maybe 5 minutes.
That's fine and dandy if you're young and healthy with paid time off from work and a car, but everyone else is screwed in this state.
