Sarah Blaskovich says:
Nolan Ryan endorses David Dewhurst for U.S. Senate
apolter, anonymous:
I appreciate that people can have their opinions, just like the knucklehead from Chik-fi-la. However, when business owners choose to step into politics, and make statements like Nolan's endorsement of Dewhurst, I seriously wonder if they have any clue what it means to run a business. The goal, I should think, is to make your business attractive to all prospective customers. Taking a stand against gay marriage, or endorsing a political candidate, is going to alienate a very significant part of the potential customer pool. So why do it? Lack of impulse control? A devil-be-damned attitude? I personally didn't give a rat's ass what the guy from Chik-fi-la or Nolan Ryan thought. However, now that they have both expressed their opinions, I will express my opinion of their opinions and will get my chicken sandwiches elsewhere, and will not pay to see the Rangers, despite them being my home team. What a shame that stupidity has to seek an audience.
