Sarah Blaskovich says:

The bad PR move with Planned Parenthood didn't help. The race is April 14.

Only 2,100 sign-ups, down 43% from 3,700 last year.

Shannon Sutlief, staff:

FW Weekly did a cover story in February about the Fort Worth affiliate: http://www.fwweekly.com/index.php?opt... Reps from the Greater Fort Worth Komen Race for the Cure talked about how the affiliates had no input in the Planned Parenthood decision and how the Fort Worth one receives most of its money from the local Race not from the national organization. It looks like backlash from a decision they weren't part of will still harm them.
