Mayfest is closed Friday night

The official statement: "Mayfest has closed effective immediately due to weather concerns on Friday evening. We will evaluate weather on Saturday morning for opening on Saturday."

Those whose festival visit was cut short tonight are not eligible for refunds: "Mayfest is a non-profit does not refund ticket purchases or parking fees. Please know your dollars support our city parks, Trinity River and community projects."
But all visitors can get a discount if they buy tickets in advance online in the next 24 hours: "We can't extend our hours but we can extend our discounts! The promotion code HAPPY40 will continue to offer 40% off all online purchases until Saturday night."
