Dallas police set up on US 75 to counteract motorcyclists

BrandonR, i'm not sure the bikers are bright enough to NOT return to the same strip of 75 they hit last year.

i'm not saying that the police aren't also taking measures on other freeways - 75 happens to be the one where i saw them.

I find it ridiculous how foolish some cyclists are.

I get a hurricane of "Look out for motorcyclist" and "Check twice" and all those other campaigns.... and INVARIABLY, the very next morning some ass*ole comes sidling up beside me at a stop light, making a new lane, then zips in front of me as the light changes and spends the next 2 miles bouncing through lanes and cutting off cars as a Speed-Limit+20 mph hazard test.

I'm sorry if you choose a dangerous vehicle and yes we all need to watch for each other, but if you ride like an idiot, natural selection is so much more likely to step in. You can't always blame the car, guys.

Tightrope walkers can't blame the paving company.
