Did you know that Mayor Davis threathen Candidate Dr. Carrie Gordon for Mayor to have her arrested if she were her name tag to the Expo event they had on Tuesday night in Balch Springs...but he was in the building with his signs sitting with the city council and no one arrested him...but the policeman at the door was told if Dr. Carrie Gordon came in to the event with her name tag or her information she was to be arrested...since when does a Mayor tell the police what to do...and especially when Dr. Gordon had not done anything...intimidation is what this is called and someone needs to investigate this situation and if the City Council is part of intimidation tactics they need to have an immediate investigation. Dr. Carrie Gordon Candidate for Mayor was told by the police officer at the Expo event in Balch Springs the Mayor had said she would be arrested is she had her Name Tag on or had any of her info...while he sat at the table with his signs and all the city council people...I smell fish...and I smell a lawsuit.....forthcoming...pictures of the Mayor at the event with his signs are forthcoming..

First of all this article is false and you are incorrect, I never threaten or directed to have Candidate Gordon put in jail, so I don't know were you got that idea, and I'm not aware of any officer threatening to arrest Gordon upon her arrival. The City has a resolution saying that there would be no campaigning in public buildings but only once a year and it would be open to the public and sponsored by the city. Gordon was present at the expo well before I had arrived; I was an hour late to this event upon my arrival Carrie Gordon was at the location with several supporters wearing political advertisement and passing out her political advertisement materials. Myself and two other candidates then at that moment decided to go outside and pull some of our sign from the nearby street corner then placed them in front of our table, the materials on our table was about city projects and Super Bowl XLV along with a video about Super Bowl XLV because we did come for a political forum. I'm not afraid to lose because I don't own the seat of Mayor it belongs to the people. So please know your facts and be correct for any future blogs’because I did not threaten to have Gordon arrested and for what would she be arrested? Mayor, CWD
