Type of organization: Theater company
The Company of Rowlett Performers was officially established in 2000 by Donna Covington, after years of work with the children of Rowlett, as a children's theatre company. Under the motto of "Bringing Contemporary Theatre To All Ages!" C.O.R.P. prides itself on bringing new, exciting, and relevant theatrical productions to Rowlett for the city and its surrounding communities. Although an amateur, non-profit company, C.O.R.P. strives for the highest level of professionalism possible with all its productions.
With theatre "for all ages" C.O.R.P. chooses to select seasons that include a show for everyone; adult comedies and dramas for mature audiences, comedy and dramas for the whole family, and - getting back to its roots - children's shows.
