Founded in 1977, Creative Arts Theatre & School is one of the oldest operating youth theaters in the nation and is the only youth theater in the Dallas-Fort Worth area where youth perform for peers and run the lights, sound, and crew. CATS is a theater by youth for youth.
CATS' mission is to develop the potential of young people from diverse backgrounds through performing arts training and performance opportunities. The company is devoted to professionally training, enriching, and inspiring all youth by igniting within them an enduring passion for the arts.
