At Echo Theatre, women speak for themselves on stage. For years, theater at all levels of production has been programmed mainly with works by male playwrights. It is the mission of Echo Theatre to unearth the power of the female theatrical voice, as women can tell a story differently and provide it with another texture and insight when they are empowered to speak in their own words.
