Description

Frisco Humane Society is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in Frisco and the surrounding communities. FHS was formed in October 2001 by a group of experienced rescue workers. FHS rescues dogs and cats primarily from Animal Control Facilities. FHS provides temporary foster care and medical attention for homeless animals until permanent homes can be found. FHS also helps to reduce the number of abandoned, abused and unwanted animals through education and spay/neuter.

FHS has partnered with the Frisco and East Plano PETsMART stores to hold on-site pet adoptions. Our dog adoptons are held from noon to 5 p.m. on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of every month at the Frisco PETsMART. Our cat adoptions are held from noon to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in both the Frisco and East Plano PETsMART stores. Cats are showcased in both centers 7 days a week and appointments can be made to adopt cats during the week as well.
