Repertory Dance Theatre of Texas (RDTT) was founded in 1985 under the name of Carrollton Repertory Dance Company, and has grown from a small studio company of eight dancers to a full pre-professional company. The company consists of dancers ages 13 through adult from cities around the North Texas area.
RTTD’s main purpose is to provide an outlet for the serious dancer to gain a more extensive performing experience in a professional atmosphere. Company members participate with aspirations for a professional career, or just for fun. It is their desire to entertain and at the same time offer a deeper understanding of dance and the dancers’ intense physical and mental commitment to the art. They perform at various locations in the metroplex including the Eisemann Center.
