The Rhythm Junkies – a nonprofit tap dance company based in North Texas is just as its name implies. The nine member company is hooked on rhythm and addicted to tap. The Rhythm Junkies company mission is to serve as a community resource to create, promote, and produce works of tap dance and to preserve historic works of tap dance. These obsessive-percussive dancers get their weekly “fixes” of tap dance during rehearsals where they create new works and perfect their repertory materials.
