At Richland College, dance is seen as an art form, promoted through training and performance. Its purpose is the development of these two characteristics--theatrical performance and technique. Informal programs throughout the year and concerts each Spring give all Richland Dance Theatre students an opportunity to perform. Concerts are held in Richland's Fannin Performance Hall, a 475-seat proscenium theatre, open to family and friends. The dance department works closely with the Richland theatre department as well, and is committed to excellence in the training of students in all areas of production.
