Theatre Wesleyan is an actively producing theater and their majors immediately become participants in the program as actors, technicians, and crew. Current students have opportunities to intern with local theaters and professional organizations, establishing working relationships before graduation. The black box space, The Thad Smotherman Theatre, is one of the largest of its kind in the country and gives students the opportunity to work in a variety of theatrical configurations including thrust, arena, proscenium and stadium.
