Childhood should be carefree -- a time to be loved and nurtured -- a time to explore and grow in a safe environment. But tonight more than 10,000 precious children in North Texas are in the custody of the State of Texas because they have suffered such severe abuse and neglect that they are no longer safe living with those who should love them most. They are now foster children.
Wednesday's Child Benefit Corporation brings hope and healing and to North Texas foster children by funding non-covered medical treatments, therapy, education supports, clothing, extra-curricular activities, recreation, adoption expenses and more. We are the only organization whose purpose is to provide funds to fulfill the needs of North Texas foster children.
Our support may come in the form of tutoring, braces, a special wheel chair, gymnastics lessons, summer camp, a winter coat, a prom dress, or a college scholarship. Please join us in caring for some of the most vulnerable children in the DFW Metroplex.
